Software for lightning & overvoltages protection according to IEC/EN 62305

In the structures the risk due to lightning flashes belongs not only to the flashes to the structure but also to the surges (overvoltages and overcurrents), mainly caused by the flashes near the structures.

JUPITER evaluates the risk of lightning in all its aspects suggesting all the necessary protections, SPD included, in accordance with international (IEC) and european (EN) standards, IEC/EN 62305.

Moreover, in accordance with international standard IEC 60364, all the designers as well as installers of electric and electronic systems must evaluate the risk of surges, and adopt the relevant protection measures when necessary.

JUPITER is therefore useful for anybody working in the electric field.
